Accessibility Statement

As a micro-enterprise under European law (annual turnover of less than €2 million), Casa Chiara is not subject to the legal obligation to comply with the Accessibility Act. However, we believe that a more accessible web is also a more usable, inclusive, and forward-looking web.

Casa Chiara voluntarily undertakes to make its website accessible to as many users as possible, in accordance with the principles of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and, on an optional basis, with the indications of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

STATUS OF COMPLIANCE

The site partially complies with the technical accessibility requirements defined by the EN 301 549:2021 standard, which implements WCAG 2.1 level AA, due to the limitations indicated below.

Content not fully accessible

  • Some color contrasts have been revised to improve readability.
  • The main interactive elements have been made more accessible with the addition of ARIA attributes, but further testing is underway on focus behavior and keyboard navigation.
  • Some dynamic components are also being revised to improve screen reader compatibility.

Evaluation and tools used

The accessibility analysis was conducted using automated tools and internal manual tests, using:

  • Google Lighthouse (score: 97/100)
