As a micro-enterprise under European law (annual turnover of less than €2 million), Casa Chiara is not subject to the legal obligation to comply with the Accessibility Act. However, we believe that a more accessible web is also a more usable, inclusive, and forward-looking web.

Casa Chiara voluntarily undertakes to make its website accessible to as many users as possible, in accordance with the principles of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and, on an optional basis, with the indications of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

STATUS OF COMPLIANCE

The site partially complies with the technical accessibility requirements defined by the EN 301 549:2021 standard, which implements WCAG 2.1 level AA, due to the limitations indicated below.

Content not fully accessible

Some color contrasts have been revised to improve readability.
The main interactive elements have been made more accessible with the addition of ARIA attributes, but further testing is underway on focus behavior and keyboard navigation.
Some dynamic components are also being revised to improve screen reader compatibility.
